As a Junior Financial Advisor at Fairstone, you will begin your journey in financial advisory by working closely with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored solutions under supervision. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build their expertise and develop a career in financial planning, with full support provided for obtaining qualifications and advancing within the field.

  • Proactive contact with our existing clients to ensure that their financial plans are up to date.
  • Conduct client fact-finding to gather and document information needed to provide financial advice in line with Fairstone standards.
  • Assist in researching and analysing financial solutions that align with clients’ objectives, under guidance from senior advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring a thorough understanding of their financial goals and circumstances.
  • Support client servicing efforts, including preparation for annual reviews and maintaining regular contact to address client queries.
  • Stay informed on financial regulations, market trends, and changes that could impact client portfolios.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to identify business opportunities and develop a strong understanding of the client journey.
  • A self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and grow within financial services.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • A client-focused mindset with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning concepts and regulations, with a willingness to expand expertise through training and qualifications.
  • APA or progress toward QFA designation is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial tools and systems is a plus.
  • No prior experience required, though an internship or related exposure in financial services is beneficial.
